Visa at X3000
By Henrik Åström, casino analyst — updated August 2026
A Visa card is the method most people reach for first and the one I rank in the middle of the payments hub. The deposit is genuinely instant and the card is already in your wallet. The payout is the slowest half of any card story, because money going back to a card is not a transfer at all — it is a refund, and it travels the same route the original charge did, at the same pace. Everything below follows from that one fact.
How to deposit with Visa
- Open the cashier at X3000 and choose Visa from the deposit methods.
- Enter an amount of 200 kr or more.
- Type the card number, expiry date and CVV into the payment form.
- Complete 3-D Secure when your bank prompts you — in Sweden that usually means confirming in the bank app or with BankID. The step is mandatory under strong customer authentication rules, so a card set up without it will simply fail.
- The balance credits in seconds and the charge shows on the card statement immediately.
How to withdraw to Visa
Select Visa in the withdrawal tab and request at least 200 kr. After the operator approves it, expect 1–3 banking days before the money shows on the card. The delay is not the casino sitting on funds: the payout is processed as a refund to the card that made the deposit, and it has to cross the card scheme and then your issuing bank posting cycle. Some banks display it as a pending credit for a day before it settles. Because it is a refund, the closed-loop rule is automatic here — the deposited amount can only go back to that specific card, and a card that has since expired has to be replaced before the payout can complete. Anything above what you deposited is paid to a nominated destination instead. If the wait matters, Trustly delivers to the same bank account in 0–2 hours.

Limits and fees
No commission is charged by X3000 on a card deposit or a card payout. The platform ceilings apply — 50 000 kr per withdrawal, 200 000 kr per rolling month, higher monthly headroom at higher VIP levels. The costs that do appear on a card are your bank doing: a currency conversion spread of roughly 1,5–2,5 % if the card is not denominated in kronor, and in some cases a cash-advance charge, because a minority of issuers still classify gambling deposits as cash rather than as a purchase. That charge is worth checking once, since it applies per transaction and quietly changes the economics of frequent small top-ups.
When something goes wrong
The bank declines the transaction. The most common single problem with cards, and it happens before the casino ever sees the payment. Gambling merchants carry the merchant category code 7995, and many Swedish banks block that code by default or let the customer toggle it in the app. The card also has to be enabled for online and international purchases. None of this is fixable from the cashier — it is a two-minute change in your banking app or a call to the issuer.
3-D Secure loops or times out. Usually an authentication app that is not set up on the phone you are holding. Nothing is charged when the check fails; start the deposit again once the app is ready.
The refund has not appeared after three banking days. Ask your bank for the acquirer reference of the credit before escalating — that number is what identifies the refund. Live chat answers in about 2–5 minutes and can supply the operator side of the same reference.
