Trustly at X3000

By Henrik Åström, casino analyst — updated August 2026

Trustly is the reason I stopped bothering with cards on Swedish-facing casinos. It is not a wallet and not a card scheme — it talks to your bank directly, you authorise with BankID, and there is no third party sitting between the operator and your account. On X3000 that architecture shows up exactly where it should: in the payout time. Of every method compared on the payments hub, this is the fastest one, and it is not close.

How to deposit with Trustly

  1. Sign in and open the cashier, then pick Trustly from the deposit methods.
  2. Enter an amount of 200 kr or more. Keep it at 200 kr on a first run — you are testing the route, not chasing a win.
  3. Select your bank from the list that Trustly shows.
  4. Authorise with BankID on the device you normally use for it.
  5. The balance updates instantly. No card number is typed anywhere and none is stored.

How to withdraw to Trustly

The payout side runs through the same connection in reverse. In the cashier, switch to the withdrawal tab, choose Trustly, and enter at least 200 kr. The money goes to the bank account you deposited from, which is the closed-loop rule doing its job rather than a restriction you can negotiate. Approval is followed by a transfer that the operator quotes at 0–2 hours; my own measured cashout landed in the bank app in 1 h 40 min, on an ordinary weekday evening. Because Trustly settles against the account rather than through the card network, weekends do not add banking days the way a Visa payout does.

Limits and fees

Neither direction carries a commission from X3000, and Trustly has no conversion layer of its own when the account is held in kronor and the bank is Swedish — what leaves your account is what lands on the balance. The ceilings are the platform-wide ones: 50 000 kr per single withdrawal and 200 000 kr in a rolling month, with higher VIP tiers lifting the monthly figure. Deposit limits, by contrast, are whatever you set for yourself in the account tools described on the responsible gambling page — and with a rail this frictionless, setting one is a genuinely good idea.

When something goes wrong

BankID times out mid-session. The most common failure, and almost never the casino. The signing window is short; if the app was not already open, it expires. Nothing is charged when this happens — start the deposit again rather than assuming a payment is stuck somewhere.

Your bank is not in the list. Trustly covers the major Swedish banks but not every institution. If yours is missing, the practical alternative is bank transfer, which is slower but reaches everyone.

The payout has not arrived after a few hours. Nine times out of ten the request is waiting on verification rather than on the bank. Check whether a document is outstanding before contacting anyone; live chat answers in roughly 2–5 minutes and will say which one.

Is Trustly really the fastest way to cash out at X3000?
Yes. The quoted window is 0–2 hours and my own test came in at 1 h 40 min, against 1–3 hours for Skrill and 1–3 banking days for cards and bank transfer. The reason is structural: Trustly settles directly with your bank instead of routing the money back through a card scheme.
Do I need a Trustly account to use it?
No. There is nothing to register and no separate balance to top up. Trustly is a connection between the cashier and your existing bank account, authorised with BankID each time, which is also why your card details never enter the process.
Can I deposit with Trustly and withdraw somewhere else?
Not for the amount you deposited. The closed-loop rule sends money back along the path it arrived on, so a Trustly deposit is repaid to the same bank account. It is an anti-money-laundering requirement rather than an operator preference, and no support agent can waive it.
